I have travelled extensively around the African continent and each country I have visited differs in its culture and uniqueness. This time my choice fell on Morocco. I have heard so many inspiring things about this country, but seeing it is a totally different experience.
Morocco is the gateway to Africa, and a country of dizzying diversity. Here you’ll find epic mountain ranges, ancient cities, sweeping deserts – and warm hospitality. This time I visited the city of Marrakesh. I am so impressed that I have decided to write several articles about it: places to visit , places to eat and overall culture.
In this particular article I would like to write about the place we decided to stay. Having two children, firstly, you want to make sure they are comfortable and safe.
So, we chose Villa Jude. The Villa is a charming oriental style villa in the most prestigious area of Marrakech situated just a few minutes walk away from Amelkis Golf club house. This villa is suitable for a holiday with family & friends. It has private garden running around the property , a large swimming pool ( pool is not heated , however it did not stop me and children to swim in it. After walking around the souks of Marrakesh it is rather refreshing), a terrace for outdoor lunch and dinner. I will be posting a lot of pictures , however they do not translate the feel of grandeur this place has.
High ceilings, large bedrooms and high windows makes this place extra luxurious.
We arrived at 1am in the morning, as you can imagine, we quickly decided on the bedrooms and all went to bed. The next morning, waking up in my bedroom was an absolute delight. The room itself was amazing, but the view from the window was extraordinary. The room has an amazing view of the Atlas mountains and the Golf course.

The house staff provides daily housekeeping & additional services are on offer, such as in house catering (menu available upon request). We booked half board basis ( breakfast and lunch/breakfast and dinner) . We requested our breakfast to be served at 9:30 every morning. After, admiring the view of Amelkis golf and the Atlas mountains we all joined for a lovely breakfast served for us by lovely lady- Siham. Breakfast consisted of tea, coffee, yogurts, toasts, honey, butter, jam, pancakes, traditional Moroccan bread ,omelette etc…plenty to eat.
The villa has 5 double bedrooms with private bathroom & an additional bedroom with two double beds.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, garden level, bathroom with shower…
Bedroom 2: Double Bed, 1st floor bathroom with shower
Bedroom 3: Double bed, 1st floor, bathroom with shower
Bedroom 4: double bed, 1st floor, overlooking the pool, bathroom with bathtub
Bedroom 5: Double bed, 1st floor, overlooking the pool, bathroom with shower and tub
Bedroom 6: 2 double beds, 1st floor

As you can probably tell, I am in love with this place. Villa is full of surprises in a nicest possible way. Location is amazing, very safe, quite and tranquil. Staff speaks French only, but it did not cause any problem for us. Siham ( lady ,who cooked for us ) and Aziz ( guy ,who is the villa caretaker) were very trustworthy and helpful . Occasionally, Siham will bring us some Moroccan tea and make fruit salads.
